Manajemen Asuhan Keperawatan Medikal Bedah Yang Service Excellent pada Tn.B Dengan Pneumonia di Ruangan RA 5 Kementrian Kesehatan RS Adam Malik Tahun 2025

Pneumonia is an acute lower respiratory tract infection that attacks the lungs, which consist of air-filled alveoli. When a person has pneumonia, the alveoli fill with pus and fluid, causing painful breathing, impaired gas exchange, and
decreased oxygen saturation. This study is titled “Excellent Medical-Surgical Nursing Care Management for Mr. B with Pneumonia in Room RA 5 of the Ministry of Health's Adam Malik Hospital in 2025.” The Purpose of this study
was to develop and implement medical-surgical nursing care management oriented towards service excellence for Mr. B with pneumonia. Case study Method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The Subject was Mr. B, through observation interviews and documentation of patients and health workers in Room RA 5 of the Ministry of Health at Adam Malik Hospital. The Results of the study showed that Mr. B's condition had improved, although he had not yet fully recovered. The patient showed an increase in oxygen
saturation and was able to perform effective coughing techniques after continuous nursing interventions. The application of service excellence in nursing care management was proven to increase patient motivation, the effectiveness of actions, and the quality of nursing services. Conclusion The application of excellent medical-surgical nursing care management in this study proved effective in improving Mr. B's condition with pneumonia. A comprehensive, empathetic, and professional approach was able to improve the quality of health services for Mr. B.
