The prevalence of hypercholesterolemia in Indonesia contributes 93.7% in people aged 23-25 years, and continues to increase by 15.5% over time. several studies in a number of hospitals found data that people with hypercholesterol amounted to 23,636 people until 2016 soared (Rahmawati et al., 2022) The incidence of high cholesterol (Hypercholestrolomia) in Indonesia is estimated to be the highest in the world, namely 350-810 cases per 100,000 population. Data released by Kolestrol Foundation (Rahmawati et al., 2022). From the results of research that has been conducted in Bangun
Rejo Village in 2023, data was obtained that many elderly people (ELDERLY) aged 56-66 years suffer from hypercholestrolemia so that hypercholestrolemia occupies the 4th largest disease in Bangun Rejo Village, so the author raises cases of hypercholestrolemia to compile and provide Gerontic Nursing Care for the elderly who experience hypercholestrolemia at Bangun Rejo Village.
