Abstract
Background: The number of maternal deaths collected from the recording of family health programs at the Ministry of Health in 2020 showed 4,627 deaths in Indonesia. This number shows an increase compared to 2019 which was 4,221 deaths. This death rate can be prevented with postpartum maternal health services, namely health services according to standards provided to postpartum mothers starting from 6 hours to 42 days after delivery. One of the districts/cities
whose KF3 achievement in its area has not reached 84% as targeted by the North Sumatra Provincial Health Office's Strategic Plan in 2019 is Humbang Hasundutan district, which is 60.98%. This study aims to analyze the relationship
between husband's knowledge and support with postpartum visits in the Sigompul Health Center work area in 2022 Method: The type of research is Correlational Research with a quantitative approach.
