Abstract
Health problems have become a basic need for the community, for the purpose of improving people's living standards, the community's demands for quality health are also increasing. This study aims to find out how the best quality of service
should be given to postpartum mothers at the Pon Village Health Center and how to increase the satisfaction of patients seeking treatment at the Pon Village Health Center, especially the KIA Poly. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research and in its implementation is based on a planned procedure. The population in this study were all postpartum maternal patients at the Pon Village Health Center, Serdang Bedagai Regency for the period January to May 2020 who had visited the Pon Village Health Center three times, a total of 35 people. The sampling technique used is the census method, where the entire population is used as the research sample. So the samples in this study were all postpartum mothers at the Pon Village Health Center, Serdang Bedagai Regency in 2020 who
had made three visits to the Pon Village Health Center, a total of 35 people. The data analysis technique in this study used the simple linear regression analysis method. The results obtained in this study are that the adjusted R square value is 0.542 or 54.2%, this indicates that the Service Quality Variable (X) can explain the Patient Satisfaction Variable (Y) by 54.2%, that tcount (6.417) > ttable (1.692), as well as the significance value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the Service Quality Variable (X) has
a significant effect on the Patient Satisfaction Variable (Y). It is recommended for further researchers to expand the scope of the object of research, for example in the coverage of provincial or national governments throughout Indonesia.
