Analisis Hubungan Pengetahuan, Sikap, Pendidikan Ibu Dan Status Gizi pada Balita Dengan Kelainan Tumbuh Kembang Balita Di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan Tahun 2023

Background: In Indonesia, the prevalence of under-fives who experience growth and development deviations is still high, according to the SDGS data, some of which are the percentage of malnutrition as much as 3.9%, while the percentage of undernourished is 13.8% and 27.67% of babies are stunted (Ministry of Health RI. , 2021). In the province of North Sumatra in 2018, 4.90% of infants were malnourished and 8.20% of infants were malnourished, while 21.03% were stunted. One of the factors causing developmental deviations in children is the lack of stimulation provided by parents.
Methods: In this study the type used was observational analytic research with a cross-sectional design, which is a type of non-experimental research method in which the researcher measures two variables, understands and assesses statistical relationships and is measured at the same time.
Results: The results obtained in this study were the mother's knowledge level p value = 0.012, mother's attitude p value = 0.010, and level of education with a p value = 0.025 this shows that each variable has a p value <0.05 which means having a relationship.
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship with the level of mother's knowledge, mother's attitude, and mother's education level about growth and development disorders in toddlers at H. Adam Malik General Hospital.
