BACKGROUND The Family Planning (KB) program is used as a way to suppress population growth and improve maternal and child health (Ministry of Health, 2021). Family Planning is one of the reproductive health programs that appears first in the 4
pillars of safe motherhood and is closely related to the KIA program. The target of the KB program is all Fertile Age Couples (PUS), both those who postpone the birth of their
first child, space their children (spacing) or limit the number of children they want. The use of a contraceptive method is an alternative solution to the problem of avoiding highrisk pregnancies so that the contraceptive method needed must be an effective, efficient and safe contraceptive method. Long-term contraceptive methods, including the use of IUDs, are one of the right choices in meeting the need for contraceptive methods for PUS with high-risk groups. PURPOSE To analyze the Factors Affecting Mothers in Using
Intrauterine Contraceptive Devices (IUDs) in Simpang Tiga Pekan Village, Perbaungan District in 2022. METHOD chi square test p value <0.05 means H0 is rejected and Ha is
