Abstract

Comprehensive obstetric care, also known as Continuity of Care (COC), has been found to be a more effective way to identify high-risk mothers and newborns. In the long term, the welfare of mothers and babies reduces the number of cases of complications and deaths of pregnant, maternity, postpartum, BBL and neonate mothers. COC can be given to
midwives with a variety of experience with the aim of ensuring that the mother receives all care from one health worker or midwife. Carrying out midwifery care management
Continuity of Care for Mrs. W, starting from the third trimester of pregnancy up to the family planning (KB) stage with continuous and comprehensive care according to the
management of Helen Varney at Suryani Clinic. The type of research carried out is in the form of a case study approach (Case Study) to examine whether the problems that arise in
an incident are related to pregnant women, giving birth, postpartum, BBL, family planning so that action is needed for their management. The author carries out continuous
management of midwifery care in Ny. W during pregnancy, childbirth, newborns, postpartum, and contraceptive services, so it can be concluded that the importance of the
care provided by the midwife to Mrs. W starting from pregnancy to choosing contraceptives after giving birth as an early detection of possible complications that can be
avoided or managed.
