Diarrhea is a condition of abnormal or unusual stool discharge which is usually characterized by an increase in volume, frequency, and color of stool more than four times
a day. According to WHO and UNCEF, there are around two billion cases of diarrhea and one point nine million children die from diarrhea throughout Asia each year. Of all these deaths, 79 occur in developing countries, especially in the Asian landmark region (Ministry of Health, 2022). Diarrhea is an endemic disease that often has the potential to cause extraordinary events such as (KLB) and is still a death toll, and is the second leading cause of death in children (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, 2022). And in this case, the case is taken, namely Diarrhea in the Inpatient Room of the North Sumatra Hospital, In writing this Scientific Paper, a Descriptive research type or case study was carried out, With the aim of writing to provide an overview of the disease experienced by An.A with the case of Diarrhea in the Inpatient Room of the North Sumatra Hospital, The patient came with complaints of diarrhea more than four times and bowel movements mixed with mucus, the patient seemed to need it and had a reduced appetite, in the case of An.A Diarrhea was late in carrying out the process of events starting from assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of abortion, after the murder of the child An.A which was carried out from 03/05\2023 to 05/05/2023 can be evaluated
with the results of the problem resolved in the diagnosis of lack of fluid volume related to dehydration and intervention and implementation were stopped.
