Hubungan Peran Orang Tua Dengan Sikap Remaja Tentang Seks Bebas Di Desa Godung Borotan Kecamatan Pangaribuan Kabupaten Tapanuli UtaraTahun 2022

Background : The role of parents is the treatment given by parents to children in the form of teaching, educating, caring for, and facilitating the daily needs of children. The role of parents affects the association of adolescents. The role of parents is very important in providing sex education to teenagers. Parents must also provide information about free sex correctly. Methods : This type of research uses quantitative research, research methods with analytical surveys and using a cross sectional approach. The population in the study was 50 adolescents in Sigotom
Godung Borotan Village with a sample of 31 respondents using purposive sampling technique and using the chi-square test data analysis technique. Results : Teenagers in Sigotom Godung Borotan Village who have authoritarian parental roles with 18 respondents (58.1%) and 13 respondents (41.9%) having non-authoritarian parental roles. While Adolescent Attitudes About Free Sex, it can be concluded that 10
respondents (32.3%) and 21 respondents (68.7%) have negative attitudes towards free sex. From the results of statistical tests using chi square, there is a relationship between the role of parents and the attitudes of teenagers regarding free sex in Sigotom Godung Borotan Village, Pangaribuan District, North Tapanuli Regency in 2022 with a value of (α = 10.661; pvalue = 0.001).
