Hubungan Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Ibu Hamil Dengan Kejadian Hipertensi Gestasional Di RSU Citra Medika Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Provinsi Sumatera Utara Tahun 2024

Background : Hypertension in pregnancy is defined as blood pressure >140/90 mmhg in twoor more measurements. According to Indonesian Health Data, the number of maternal deaths collected from the family health program records at the
Ministry of Health in 2020 showed 4,627 deaths in Indonesia. This number shows an increase compared to 2019 of 4,221 deaths. Based on causes, the majority of matrnal deaths in 2022 will be caused by gestational hypertension, amounting to 1,100 cases. When conducting the initial survey cinducted here, researches interviewed 60 respondets at Citra Medika Hospital in 2024.
Method : The type of research used in this research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional research design where this research was conducted at the same time (syapitri & Amila, 2020). Theam of this research was to determinate the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women towards hypertension. The population in this study were all pregnant women at RSU Citra Medika. In this study
the number of samples was based on this formula with a total population and sample of 60 samples.
Results : The research findings show that the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women are related to hypertension (P-value = 0.001 (<0.05) and P-value = 0.000 (<0.05).
Conclusion : There is a significant relationship between the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women towards hypertension with P-value = 0,001 < 0,05 and there is a significant relationship between the relationship between the attitude of pregnant women towards hypertension at RSU Citra Medika with P-value = 0,000 < 0,05.
