Ischemic stroke is a condition in which blood vessels in the brain are blocked, causing a decrease in oxygen supply, which leads to the death of brain cells and tissue. Common symptoms in stroke patients include sudden weakness or loss of sensation in certain areas such as the face, legs, and hands. The purpose of this study was to create and implement Excellent Emergency Nursing Care Management for patients with ischemic stroke at the Ministry of Health's Adam
Malik Hospital in Medan in 2024. Method used a case study design with a qualitative descriptive approach. Suject The subject, Mrs. E, had an ischemic stroke. Data collection was conducted through various methods, including interviews, observation, and physical examination. Results The results of the assessment revealed three diagnoses: ineffective peripheral perfusion, impaired physical mobility, and self-care deficit. Interventions included monitoring vital
signs, teaching active and passive range of motion exercises, and teaching oral hygiene before meals. The evaluation showed gradual improvement in the patient.
Conclusion: Health education can improve the success of providing medicalsurgical nursing care for patients with ischemic stroke.
