Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder with multiple etiologies characterized by high blood sugar levels accompanied by carbohydrate metabolism disorders, lipids and proteins as a result of insulin function insufficiency. Data from the World Health Organization (WHO) shows that Indonesia has the fourth highest number of DM sufferers in the world, after India, China, and the United States. In
Indonesia, the most affected DM Riskesdas in 2018, as much as 2.6% of the population according to diagnosis. In North Sumatra, precisely in Medan, from the results of Community Service research conducted in Hamlet VIII, Bangun Rejo
Village, Tanjung Morawa District, in 2023, DM disease was found to be 0.5% of 50 respondents. Therefore, from the results of the study, the author raised "Family Nursing Care with Type II Diabetes Mellitus in Mr.H." in Bangun Rejo Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Serdang Deli District.
Research Method : Analytical survey with interview strategy makes research design In this case study the study, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation are carried out using the method nursing care. The author seeks to outline each step in providing family nursing care
Conclusion: after conducting family nursing care for Mr.H with Type II Diabetes Mellitus in Bangun Rejo Village, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang District in 2023 for four days using 5 nursing processes, namely: Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Nursing Intervention, Nursing Implementation, and Nursing Evaluation , the results of Mr. H's family can be eliminated DM diet , check blood sugar levels , and diligently clean DM wounds according to what has been done by the family.
