Asuhan Keperawatan Medikal Bedah pada Ny. T dengan gangguan sistem saraf: Stroke Iskemik di Ruangan Mahoni Meranti RS Universitas Sumatera Utara” Tahun 2023

Background: A stroke is a medical condition in which poor blood flow to the brain leads to cell death. Ischemic stroke, caused due to lack of blood flow. The number of
incidents that occurred at the University of North Sumatra Hospital in 2022 was 129 cases. The incidence of ischemic stroke is based on data obtained in the Meranti Mahogany Room of the University of North Sumatra Hospital. The purpose of the study was to Plan and carry out Medical Surgical Nursing Care for Mrs. T with nervous system disorders: Ischemic Stroke in the Meranti Mahogany Room of the University of North Sumatra Hospital. Method: This type of case study is a type of case study that aims to explore problems with nervous system disorders: Ischemic Stroke in the Meranti Mahogany Room of the University of North Sumatra Hospital in 2023. Results: The results of research that have been obtained after conducting Nursing Care are successfully conducting and implementing nursing care with five stages. Conclusion: The approach taken is a nursing care approach starting from Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Nursing Intervention, Nursing Implementation, Nursing Evaluation. After carrying out the application of Medical Surgical Nursing Care on Mrs. T with nervous system disorders: Ischemic Stroke in the Meranti Mahogany Room of the University of North Sumatra Hospital for four days using
the nursing process, namely: Assessment, Nursing Diagnosis, Nursing Care Intervention, Implementation of Nursing Care, and Nursing Care Evaluation consisting of progress records.
