Abstract

Background: Continuity of care is a series of ongoing service activities aimed at providing continuous care over a specific period, starting from pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, newborn care, and family planning services. Furthermore, I will keep records of my midwifery care for pregnant women, childbirth, postpartum women with breastfeeding, and newborns for Mrs. "E" at the Rimenda Br. Tarigan Clinic in 2025. Method used is a descriptive method, which is researched to produce an objective description of the situation. This descriptive research also utilizes a method by which researchers attempt to describe the objects and subjects studied in depth, broadly, and in detail, including pregnant women experiencing breast milk retention, childbirth, postpartum, newborns, and family planning at the Rimenda Br. Tarigan Clinic in Sunggal District. The population in this study was every pregnant woman with breast milk retention who visited the Rimenda Br. Tarigan
Clinic. The subject in this study was one of the pregnant women with breast milk retention who visited the Rimenda Br. Tarigan Clinic. Results: The researchers conducted continuous midwifery care management for Mrs. E, starting from pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, with breast milk
retention, newborns, and family planning. The Conclusion: After conducting routine continuous midwifery care management for pregnant women experiencing breast milk retention, childbirth, postpartum, newborns, and family planning, it was concluded that the mothers experiencing breast milk retention were managed with the care provided by the researchers.
