According to (Ministry of Health, Healthy Elderly, Happy Elderly, 2019), the elderly is someone over 60 years old. Where aging is part of the human life cycle that almost everyone experiences and can benefit themselves, their families, and society. For seniors to be useful, they must be healthy, prepared, and in a place that supports their potential as soon as possible. The type of study used in this scientific paper is by using the descriptive category case study method which aims to delve deeper into the Dementia Nursing Problem at the Binjai Elderly Social Service UPTD in 2024 which includes one patient. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO 2023) evaluation, more than 55 million people around the world suffer from dementia, more than 60 percent of them live in low- and middle�income countries. Nearly 10 million new cases appear every year. Currently, dementia ranks seventh as the cause of death, and is one of the leading causes of
dependency and disability in the elderly. The results of the evaluation from Mrs. S patient after nursing treatment was carried out on patients with dementia problems Memory impairment was not resolved because they could not memorize gymnastics movements Interaction disorders were resolved and the intervention wasdiscontinued, acute confusion was resolved and the intervention was discontinued.
