In 2020, the World Health Organization recorded a high maternal mortality rate (MMR) of 295,000, while in ASEAN it reached 235/100,000 live births. Then in the Indonesian demographic and health survey (SDKI) shows the infant mortality rate (IMR) is 24/1,000 live births. In 2021 there were cases of maternal deaths reaching 2,982 caused by covit19, then in cases of hypertension in pregnancy reaching 1,077, and also recorded cases of bleeding as the main cause of maternal death reaching 1,330 cases. The purpose of the research conducted was to provide continuous midwifery care to Mrs. D with a case of grade I birth canal laceration at PMB Roni Barus, Kec. Percut Sei Tuan Kab. Deli Serdang. comprehensively, where one of the research methods used was
descriptive using the 7 steps of helen varney which was carried out on January 28, 2024.
