Faktor-Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Kejadian Mioma Uteri Pada Ibu Hamil di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik Provinsi Sumatera Utara Tuntungan tahun 2023

Background :World Health Organization (WHO) Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the world is 303,000 people. The maternal mortality rate (MMR) in Asean is 235 per 100,000 live births (ASEAN Secretariat, 2020). Purpose : To analyze the factors associated with the incidence of uterine myoma
in pregnant women based on maternal age, parity and use of contraception at H.Adam Malik General Hospital. Methods : Analytic method with a cross-sectional design was used in this type of research. The research was conducted at H Adam Malik Hospital in 2023. With a population of 40 people, namely inpatients and outpatients and for a sample of 39
people through secondary data, with chi square analysis .
Results: The results of the relationship between age and uterine myoma are p-value 0.022. The relationship between parity and uterine myoma was obtained with a p value of 0.007, and the relationship between contraceptive use and uterine myoma obtained a p-value of 0.016, which means that the three variables are related to uterine myoma (in bivariate results if the p-value <0.05) Conclusion : There is a relationship between risk factors for pregnant women's age, parity and use of contraception on the incidence of uterine myoma. It is recommended to find out the factors for the occurrence of uterine myoma in pregnant women and carry out health promotion about factors related to the incidence of uterine myoma in pregnant women.
