namely 39 people and the control group 39 people. Analysis of the data used was bivariate percentages using the Chi-Square test. Results: The results of the analysis showed that of the 78 samples consisting of 39 patients diagnosed with hydrocephalus and 39 patients not diagnosed with
hydrocephalus. From the analysis results, some respondents aged 0 - 12 months, namely 31 (79.5%), had poor nutritional status, namely 25 (64.1%). The results of the Chi-square test of 2 variables showed that there were 2 variables that were related, namely age (p-value = 0.009), nutrition (p-value = 0.041), Conclusion: From the research results, it was concluded that there was a relationship between child age and nutritional status with the incidence of hydrocephalus at H Adam Malik Hospital.
