FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEJADIAN KISTA OVARIUM DI RSUP HAJI ADAM MALIK TAHUN 2023

Background: Ovarian cyst is a disorder of the female reproductive organs. Ovarian cysts are one of the most common gynecological benign tumors encountered in women during their reproductive years.
Purpose: This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of ovarian cysts at Haji.Adam Malik General Hospital in 2023
Methods: This type of research is quantitative analytic with retrospective. The population in this study were all patients diagnosed with ovarian cysts at H. Adam Malik General Hospital during the January-December 2022 period,
totaling 171 people. The sample set by the researchers was 63 patients using the slovin formula. Data analysis technique using chi square.
Results: The results of the Chi square analysis obtained p = 1.000 > 0.05, meaning that there was no effect of parity on the incidence of ovarian cysts. The results of the Chi square analysis obtained a value of p = 0.003 <0.05, meaning
that there is an influence of age on the incidence of ovarian cysts. The results of the Chi square analysis obtained a value of p = 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there
is an effect of diet on the incidence of ovarian cysts. The results of Chi square analysis obtained p value = 0.001 <0.05, meaning that there is an influence of hereditary history on the incidence of ovarian cysts.
Conclusion: There is an effect of parity on the incidence of ovarian cysts, there is an effect of age on the incidence of ovarian cysts, there is an effect of diet on the incidence of ovarian cysts, there is an effect of heredity on the incidence of ovarian cysts.
