Manajemen Asuhan Keperawatan Jiwa Yang Service Excellent pada Tn.M dengan Harga Diri Rendah di Ruangan Sorik Merapi 5 RS Jiwa Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ildrem Medan Provinsi Sumatera Utara Tahun 2025

Background: Low self-esteem is one of the psychosocial problems often experienced by patients with mental disorders and has an impact on the ability to adapt, social interaction, and quality of life of patients. Objective: To implement psychiatric nursing care management with a service excellent approach to Mr. M who has low self-esteem at Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ildrem Mental Hospital Medan in 2025. Method: The research conducted uses a descriptive method that
systematically describes the nursing process carried out starting from assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation using an assessment sheet
instrument. Subject: The research subject used focuses on one subject, namely Mr. M, who is a patient with low self-esteem. Results: The results of the assessment conducted for 3 days on Mr. M found the following nursing diagnoses low selfesteem, social isolation, withdrawal, and ineffective coping. Implementation is carried out with interventions, namely the implementation of SP 1–SP 3, including strengthening positive abilities, practicing gradual activities, increasing social interaction, and developing adaptive coping mechanisms. After three meetings, the
evaluation results showed that Mr. M had self-potential, interacted with his environment, and expressed his feelings more openly. The patient was also able to carry out daily activities according to the established schedule. Conclusion: From this case study, the application of excellent service-based psychiatric nursing care has been proven effective in improving T.n M's self-esteem, social skills, and coping skills in T.n M with low self-esteem. This approach can improve nursing care for T.n M.
