Manajemen Asuhan Kebidanan Continuity of Care (COC) Pada Ibu Hamil, Bersalin dengan Letak Muka, Bayi Baru Lahir, Nifas dan Keluarga Berencana pada Ny.E Usia 23 Tahun di Puskesmas Janjiangkola Tahun 2025

Background : The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target a global maternal mortality rate (MMR) of less than 70 per 100,000 live births and an infant mortality rate (IMR) of 12 per 1,000 live births by 2030. Continuity of Care (CoC) is a continuous midwifery care approach that encompasses pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, postpartum care, and contraceptive selection. A facedown delivery is a rare condition and requires comprehensive management.
Objective : To describe the management of CoC midwifery care for Mrs. E, 23, with a face-down delivery at the
Janjiangkola Community Health Center in 2025.
Method : This study used a case study design with Varney's 7-step midwifery management approach and SOAP documentation. The subject of this paper was Mrs. E, 23, G1P0A0, with complications of a face-down delivery.
Results : Midwifery care was provided, starting with pregnancy assessment, delivery with a face-down position, newborn care, postpartum care, and family planning services. The mother and baby were healthy, labor was spontaneous,
postpartum progressed physiologically, the baby was born healthy, and the mother chose a contraceptive method according to her needs.
Conclusion : The implementation of Continuity of Midwifery Care (CoC) in cases of face-down position provided good results and supported the improvement of the quality of midwifery services. The health of the mother and child from
pregnancy through the selection of contraceptives was good, and no gaps were found between theory and practice.
