Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kejadian Abortus Imminens Pada Ibu Hamil Di RSU Delima Kecamatan Medan Labuhan Provinsi Sumatera Utara Tahun 2024

Background: Pregnancy is defined as the process of fetal development that begins with conception or fertilization, starting from the union of the ovum and sperm cells until the birth of the fetus. Bleeding during pregnancy before 20
weeks of gestation without the expulsion of the products of conception is referred to as threatened abortion.
The purpose: analyze the factors influencing the occurrence of threatened abortion among pregnant women at Delima General Hospital, Medan Labuhan District, in 2024.
Method: This study employed an analytic survey method with a retrospective case-control design, involving 46 samples selected through purposive sampling from a population of 371 pregnant women using the Slovin formula, with data analysis performed using the Chi-square test.
Result: showed a significant association between maternal age and the occurrence of threatened abortion (p-value = 0.000 < 0.05). Parity was also significantly associated with threatened abortion (p-value = 0.018 < 0.05). In contrast, occupation was not significantly associated with threatened abortion (p-value = 0.743 > 0.05). Anemia showed a significant association with threatened abortion (p-value = 0.017 < 0.05).
Conclusion: There was a significant association between maternal age, parity, and anemia and the occurrence of threatened abortion, while occupation showed no significant association with threatened abortion.
