Leukemia is a disorder of the blood system caused by the proliferation of white blood cell-forming tissue, characterized by the circulation of immature or abnormal
white blood cells in the bloodstream. Objective: To determine the application of nursing care for children with ALL based on the nursing process. Methods: This study used a case study design for one pediatric patient with ALL in a hospital inpatient ward. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The assessment revealed three nursing diagnoses: hyperthermia, ineffective peripheral perfusion, and nutritional deficit.
Interventions included identifying the cause ofhyperthermia, identifying risk factors for circulatory disorders, and identifying nutritional status. The conclusion of this study is that the application of comprehensive and continuous nursing care can improve the quality of life of children with ALL, it has been shown to help reduce symptoms,prevent complications,and improve the quality of life for pediatric
patients with ALL. A service excellent approach and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team are key to the succes of managing childhood leukemia cases.
