Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by the bacteria
Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This germ is rod-shaped and has special properties, namely that it is resistant to acid in coloring and is included in both pathogenic and saprophytic organisms. According to the World Health Organization (global report, 2023), the estimated number of people diagnosed with TB in 2022 globally will be 10.6 million cases, an increase of around 600,000 cases from 2021, which
is estimated at 10 million TB cases. Of the 10.6 million cases, there are 6.4 million (60.3%) people who have been reported and have undergone treatment, while 4.2 million (39.7) other people have not been found/diagnosed and
reported. According to the Ministry of Health (2023), Indonesia is in second place with the highest number of TB cases in the world after India, followed by China, the Philippines, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh. With an estimated number of TB cases at 1,060,000 TB cases and 134,000 deaths due to TB per year in Indonesia (17 people die from TB every hour). In this regard, this research aims to determine health problems in Bangun Rejo Village. So from the results of this research the author raised Family Nursing Assistance for Mr. S with Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Bangun Rejo Village
