The results of the 2017 Indonesian Demographic Health Survey (SDKI) found that around 12% of IUD participants stopped using IUDs due to side effects. Although IUD contraception is very effective and long-term, this IUD is not very popular with the public because the installation procedure is considered uncomfortable, must be carried out by trained medical personnel and seems taboo because the contraceptive is inserted into the genitals so that women are often afraid during installation. This causes IUD users to continue to decline. The purpose of this study was to determine the Factors That Influence Fertile Age Couples in the Use of IUD Contraceptives at the Flora Balam Clinic KM.31 Balaijaya Riau in 2023. This study used an analytical observational method using a Cross Sectional approach. The results of univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square obtained There is a significant relationship between the education of fertile couples in the use of IUD contraceptives at the Flora Balam Clinic KM.31 Balaijaya Riau in 2023 with a p value of 0.001 There is a significant relationship between the work of fertile couples in the use of IUD contraceptives at the Flora Balam Clinic KM.31 Balaijaya Riau in 2023 with a p value of 0.012 There is a significant relationship between the number of children of fertile couples in the use of IUD contraceptives at the Flora Balam Clinic KM.31
