Faktor-Faktor yang mempengaruhi Pernikahan Dini di SMPS Visi Kudus Indonesia Kota Batam Tahun 2023

BACKGROUND A healthy marriage that meets the age criteria of prospective husband and wife is to meet the age criteria of a healthy reproductive period, namely 20-35 years because it is related to women's reproductive health. Biologically, reproductive organs are more mature when the reproduction process occurs, psychosocially, women at that age range have sufficient mental maturity. Early marriage socially will be a topic of conversation among teenage friends and the community. Early marriage can cause teenagers to drop out of school, thus losing the opportunity to study as a provision for the future. The life experiences of those under 20 years old are usually not yet stable, if women during early marriage become pregnant mentally unstable, then the fetus they are carrying will be an unwanted child, this has far-reaching consequences for the development of the child's soul since in the womb (Ellya et al., 2013). Child marriage causes early pregnancy and childbirth, which are associated with high mortality rates and abnormal conditions for the mother because the girl's body is not yet fully mature
to give birth. Girls aged 10-14 years are five times more likely to die in pregnancy and childbirth than women aged 20-24 years, and globally, pregnancy-related deaths are the leading cause of death for girls aged 15-19 years. PURPOSE To analyze the Factors Affecting Early Marriage at SMPS Visi Kudus Indonesia Batam City in 2023. METHOD chi square test p value <0.05 means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted statistical test results there is a significant relationship. RESULTS there is a significant relationship there is a relationship between education and early marriage with a value of p = 0.001, there is a relationship between knowledge and early marriage with a value of p = 0.004, there is a relationship between the environment and early marriage with a value of p = 0.011, there is no relationship
between culture and early marriage with a value of p =0.357.
