Abstract

cavity. If the ectopic pregnancy is abortion then referred to as an uninterrupted ectopic pregnancy, KET is considered the main cause of maternal death in the first trimester of pregnancy. Based on data obtained from the World Health
Organization (WHO), the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in the world in 2019 is 235 per 100,000 live births or it is estimated that the number of maternal deaths is 303,000 whose main cause is bleeding. Of the 250 pregnant women experiencing ectopic pregnancies, 80% experienced pregnant women at the age of 35 years and over, and 60% experienced women with first and second parity. Then the Maternal
Mortality Rate in North Sumatra Province in 2020 has exceeded the set target. The largest cause of maternal death in North Sumatra Province in 2020 was bleeding as many as 67 cases (35.83%). The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between maternal parity and age on theincidence of disturbed ectopic pregnancies at H.Adam Malik Hospital in 2023. Method: This study used observational research with case control design from secondary data at H.Adam Malik Hospital from January – December 2022. Case variables were grouped into KET and not KET from samples of mothers undergoing hospitalization, age was grouped into two groups, age at risk if < 20 years and > 35 years, and age said to be good / not at risk if 20-35 years. Parity is grouped into those at risk if parity is multiparous and grande multipara and groups are not at risk if parity is Nullipara and primipara if parity is <1 or = 1. Results: This study showed that from 48 samples consisting of 16 patients diagnosed with KET and 32 undiagnosed with KET, from 16 patients diagnosed with KET, 9 patients were multipara and grande
multipara status and 7 patients were nullipara andprimipara, while of the 48 patients who did not KET, 6 patients had multipara and grande multipata status and 26 patients had nullipara and primiparous status. From the results of the bivariate test with chi-square, p = 0.021 and QR = 5.571 were obtained. Then from 48 samples of 74 patients diagnosed with KET, 11 patients aged <20 years or >35 years and 5 patients aged 20-30 years, meanwhile. From the results of the bivariate test with chi-square obtained p value = 0.031 and QR = 4.840. parity Conclusion: From the results of the study There is a significant relationship between and maternal age on the incidence of Interrupted Ectopic Pregnancy , with parity as the most dominant influential factor .
